The five values of a Loreto education - Freedom, Justice, Sincerity, Verity and Felicity underpin all aspects of College life.<br><br> The Finance Officer – Payroll &amp; Accounts Receivable is responsible for the end-to-end processing of the College’s fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a high standard of service to staff. The role also administers the accounts receivable function and provides general financial and operational support to the Finance Team, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the College’s financial operations.</p> <p>In this role, you will manage the full payroll cycle, including the accurate processing of wages, deductions, reimbursements and termination payments. You will calculate, reconcile and remit superannuation contributions and PAYG tax obligations, monitor and process leave applications, and liaise with salary packaging providers to ensure all associated processes are completed accurately. The position also involves implementing salary changes arising from Enterprise Agreement updates and legislative requirements, maintaining compliance at all times, and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.</p> <p>You will also be responsible for administering accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, credit processing and reconciliations, while supporting the broader Finance Team with administrative and operational tasks as required by the Director of Finance, Business Manager and Principal.</p> <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate proven experience in payroll processing and accounts receivable, along with strong technical skills in payroll and finance systems. Experience in financial administration within an education setting will be highly regarded. You will bring excellent organisational skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a collaborative approach to working within a team.
