Ongoing part-time VET Electrotechnology Teacher role delivering hands-on training and mentoring students in an established school program.
<p>As part of St Patrick’s College’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities, we are pleased to continue offering our VET program in Electrotechnology, currently in its third year of operation. We are seeking either an experienced professional in the electrotechnology industry who is passionate about teaching and has their Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an experienced VET Teacher already established in the field. This is an ongoing part-time (0.75 FTE) position with the opportunity to further develop and strengthen our Electrotechnology VET program, providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.</p>
<p>In this role, you will deliver the Electrotechnology Training Package within our VET program, focusing on relevant Certificate II qualifications. You will ensure the program meets industry standards, engage students through practical, hands-on training, and create a positive learning environment that supports student participation and growth. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and guidance to help students navigate their educational and career pathways.</p>
<p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p>

<li>An experienced professional in the electrotechnology industry with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an experienced VET Teacher in the field.</li>

<li>Excited to contribute to the ongoing development of an established VET program that aligns with industry trends.</li>

<li>Collaborative with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance program offerings and student outcomes.</li>
<li>Organised, proactive, and committed to student success, with a genuine enthusiasm for guiding students.</li>
