<p><strong>Administration Assistant / PA to the Head of Junior School</strong></p> <p>Ongoing | Part-time (20 hours per week)</p> <p>Commencing Term 2, 2026 (or earlier by mutual agreement)</p> <p><br> The Administration Assistant / PA to the Head of Junior School provides high-level administrative, secretarial and organisational support enabling the Head of Junior School to fulfil their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.</p> <p>This is a pivotal role requiring exceptional organisation, discretion, initiative and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will manage appointments, correspondence, events and enrolment processes, while supporting staff, students and families within the Junior School community.</p> <p>This is an ongoing, part-time position working 20 hours per week during term time (including staff days).</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <p><u>Essential:</u></p> <ul> <li>Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or a combination of relevant administrative experience and/or education/training</li> <li>Efficient computer skills, including high level keyboard skills, experience with Microsoft packages, email, and the internet.</li> <li>Knowledge of platforms such as Synergetic and SEQTA</li> <li>Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employee status), or ability to obtain</li> <li>Hold a current First Aid (HTLAID 009), CPR (HLTAID 011), and asthma qualification</li> <li>Have completed the Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations module - The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET)</li> <li>Provide Evidence of Right to Work in Australia</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Applications</strong></p> <p>Applications should be addressed to Mr Simon Young, Principal, The Geelong College, and include:</p> <ul> <li>A current resume, and&nbsp;</li> <li>A letter of introduction outlining how your skills and experience will contribute positively to the role and to The Geelong College community.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Applications close Monday 9 March 2026</strong><br><br><br><strong>Please note:</strong>&nbsp;applications will be reviewed as received and interviews may commence prior to the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.</p>
