<p>At Corpus Christi Catholic School, we believe in student-focused, Christ-centred learning for life. We are a forward thinking primary co-educational school catering for 474 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.</p>
<p>The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at Bellerive.</p>
<p><strong>Utility Officer</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ongoing, part-time</strong></p>
<p>0.5077 FTE </p>
<p>(Term Time Only - 40 weeks per year)</p>
<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p>
<p>The Utility Officer undertakes general and routine grounds and/or maintenance work to ensure a clean, orderly, safe and instructionally supportive physical school environment that enables enhanced student learning outcomes.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain gardens and grounds including mowing and brush cutting.</li>
<li>Mark lines on school ovals/grounds for sporting events.</li>
<li>Set up furniture and equipment for sporting and special events at the School.</li>
<li>Prioritise and complete allocated work plan in accordance with school requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain hand and power tools and equipment to ensure they are safe.</li>
<li>Complete daily security routines (unlocking and locking buildings) and safety inspections of school grounds and equipment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be eligible applicants require:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania)</li>
<li>Accreditation A: Accreditation to work in a Catholic school, or willingness to work towards</li>
<li>Current and satisfactory National Police Criminal History Check (NPCHC)</li>
<li>Certificate 1 in relevant field or equivalent</li>
<li>Current Tasmanian driver licence.</li>
<li>Hold or willing to obtain Medium Rigid Bus Licence</li>

<p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p>
